Biting your lower lip
Gesticulating when talking
Touching someone’s arm when speaking to them to make a point.

All something of a giveaway.

I’m very grateful to those of you who have kindly replied to my post.   Having read threads from all of the boards I am very glad I joined this forum.  It is clearly a lovely insightful and supportive environment.

I said in my post that I am a beta male but I suspect gamma might be more accurate.  I have very little confidence when it comes to communicating my thoughts.   It took me many months of indecision before I applied to register and composed my post. 

I would therefore like to ask what are the rules and etiquette around messaging other members.   I was wondering, for example, if it would be permitted to contact one of the more prolific posters to ask them if they would be willing to tell me if a proposed post was sensible or to comment on something that concerns me but I’m too timid to post about generally.
