I am not sure Melissa if the question was asked of me, and if so if it concerns my writing or a general preference. If it be the latter then amongst many, and at random "the Feminization of Michelle" by Aleisha James which together with her other stories can be found on Fictionmania.
Generally the question is a difficult one. Well not so much the question as the genre. At least I found it so. It is so very restrictive ... or perhaps constrictive is a better word. The plot by definition concerns a male who more or less unwillingly, is coerced, or possibly encouraged, into becoming a female. The possible variations on the theme are very limited. Repitition reigns! This may bore the reader but it is certainly deadly boring for the writer. Or at least I found it so. I tried desperately to ensure that all my stories wear quite different in theme, context and indeed length and gave up when I ran out of options.
The down side to this is that a reader might quite like my 'Deception of Choice' (the only one on Fictionmania) and be bitterly disappointed when they tracked down the others. Still the one advantage of being on an amateur site is that the readers' opinions count for little besides the writer's satisfaction.
Apologies for the length, and indeed the irrelevance, of my reply Melissa but you sparked off a favourite hobby horse of mine.
