I hope you find some suitable help and advice here on the forum which covers an enormous variety of situations, relationships, different fantasies and realities.
Does your wife know that you wish to become her maid or are your submissive feelings and desires currently a secret? In my experience there is an enormous difference between how you imagine and how things turn out and it can be a rocky road or even a dangerous path to follow if you are not really careful. Whilst there are naturally dominant females in our society and times may be changing, there are many that fill what we tend to think of as more traditional roles and find the whole notion of an FLR as quite confronting and not to their liking. Only you really know your wife and what she is like and if you have been married for a while and suddenly announce something that could radically alter your relationship and her perception of the world, that could be disastrous if handled the wrong way.
If your wife already knows that you like crossdressing and better still, she either encourages it or at least tolerates it, then the next few stages might be easier but it still requires tact and time; not a rushed approach that might be what you feel you need and desire but doesn’t suit her at all and can backfire.
BTW - I think many of us really miss PDQ - especially the Christmas edition.
