The Lady decides what she wants for her sissy and makes the arrangements.

Of course!  I can see her gathering female friends and family to observe and give input on the ritual fitting..

A sort of bridal shower for her sissy.

Standard procedure for the engaged sissy, therefore everyone will know.

Oh yes!  Engagement parties are all the rage.  Often involving trips and multiple days!  Each guest is to bring their sissy if they have one and a feminine gift for the newly publicly caged sissy!!

If a guest did not have her own sissy I am sure she would not be without one the next time.

Oh, yes, yes, yes. I often go past a brides shop and simply adore the beautiful dresses and accessories. One day sissies will be able to be fitted for their wedding too.

I confess I had a good laugh at your comment but only because for years my wife and I have stopped off to look in bridal shops but always talked about how lovely it would be if I could go inside and be fitted for a wedding dress. She was never interested for her own sake and has always found many of the wedding gowns to be way to fancy, flouncy or just “over the top” but has often made comments about how lovely they would look with a sissy done up and wearing one.

Just do it!!

There is an enormous difference between fantasy and reality which is very apparent at times on this forum. Unless we were actually thinking of buying a wedding dress and renewing our vows and all dressed for the occasion there is no way a retail store would entertain the idea of a couple visiting the store and a male just trying on what are usually very expensive gowns. That is an area of male fantasy only unfortunately. However, there are charity shops around that often have wedding dresses donated as well as other “exciting” female outfits and it is quite possible to measure someone and even try on outfits in such places. Often they are staffed by more senior members of the community who have probably “:seen it all” at various times. When I visit such places with my wife, she often holds up skirts and dresses and suggests I might like them and we do buy the occasional item to add to this maid’s wardrobe. A few years back we used to see more lingerie and general female underwear available in charity shops and it was a great place (although somewhat embarrassing) to acquire some more traditional foundation garments such as girdles and corselettes and the odd slip or petticoat. These days it seems that most of them do not stock underwear…seems to be a hangover from covid times, perhaps attitudes towards personal hygiene?
Anyway,. If anyone knows of a bridal store where the staff encourage men in drab to enter and try on a gown or two, do share the info, it would be an enlightened store indeed!

I don’t know any physical retail stores, but there are amazing sellers on Etsy that make incredible garments including sissy wedding dresses.  I have a few handmade bespoke sissy uniforms that are jaw droppingly beautiful, and the experience of buying and liaising with the seamstress while being made was wonderful. So there’s nothing to stop sissies having an incredible wedding dress!

Sissy Tink,

Surely half the fun, the excitement, the trepidation and nervousness would be to actually venture into a store and try on a dress whilst being supervised by the senior assistant, The scenario brings everything together but sadly for me remains a fantasy only.

Petula, I’m sorry that for you trying on a dress remains a fantasy. I have been into shops and taken female garments, including dresses and skirts, into changing rooms to try on. Usually I ‘underdress’ with bra, panties and tights, and have even taken my own heels in a bag with me so I can get the right image in front of the full length changing room mirror. I haven’t progressed to stepping outside in the shop while so dressed, but maybe one day. Even so, trying a dress on in a store changing room is most enjoyable, even more so if it fits and I then buy it.

I once bought a black dress in a charity shop and said it was for a fancy dress party, I asked if I could try it on and put it on in the changing cubicle, the lady on the counter said, "let's have a look at you" and of course I did as asked and she said it will do, so I bought it, the other ladies in the shop saw but didn't say anything to me.  Of course I was properly underdressed in panties and tights and had a little padding in my bra which was noticed, true story.

Priscilla,
TBH -
I was specifically talking about going to a wedding gown store where they sell the most amazing creations. I often stop outside and look longingly at all those styles, ranging from the real skinny slimline dresses to the bouffant or wedding cake designs…i love them all. There is a fantasy story somewhere about a guy that wins a competition for a wedding dress but has no partner….and you can guess the rest of the story. That is a dream of mine but not my story!
