Could learn something from Cherokee society

Cherokee society was matriarchal. The women owned the property and made decision in the governing of their society. Children raised in the motherís house. The motherís brothers were tasked with raising her boys in the skills of hunting and so forth.  The girls learned from all the other women how to manage the family business. Family links through the motherís side paramount. In a divorce the manís belongs were just put outside the house and off he went. Read more here,
